A LETTER TO A FRIEND

I understand that you're feeling unhappy and uninterested in yourself. Please try to calm down by turning off the light in your room, sitting down, taking a glass of water, and reflecting on yourself. I'm here to help you overcome these feelings.

Stress and depression are a natural part of life, and it helps us differentiate between happiness and stress. As Nelson Mandela once said, "I never lose. I either win or learn." All of us experience stress or tension in our lives, but some show it, while others hide it. Your life is all about learning, practicing, and evaluating. You never lose if you learn from your losses.

As Viktor Frankl said, "The great task for any person is to find meaning in his or her life." Your life is beautiful and full of opportunities. Your only task is to find the meaning of life and use the opportunity to be your best self. Finding the purpose of life is essential because it's the only thing that can help you overcome all of your stress and depression.

.

Anonymous once said, "Strive for progress, not perfection." The definition of perfection varies from person to person, but the definition of progress is specific and clear. These words can help you become motivated. Progress is more important than perfection, and this belief can help you a lot in your university life. Getting fewer marks is not the issue; the thing is whether you learn from them or not.

As HAEMIN SUNIM said, "Being right isn't important; being happy together is." We all have beliefs, values, and thoughts that are fundamental to us and that we cannot imagine compromising on. Sometimes, we may clash over political views, religious beliefs, or life values. Sometimes we use rough language or criticize people to prove ourselves right. However, isn't it better to be happy together than to be right alone? Being right is not nearly as important as being happy together.

Lastly, I want to remind you not to betray yourself. You know who you are, your capabilities, how much effort you give or have to give, and your weaknesses and strengths. You know yourself better than anyone. This is not the last nor the first, but the beginning of you.
