MOST EFFECTIVE RULES TO AVOID PROCRASTINATION
- Five-second rule: When you are not able to focus or start your studies. Then, you have to count 5 to 1 and sit down for the task.
- White paper technique: In our daily life, we have a lot of thoughts, ideas, and stress in our minds and brain. Sometimes because of procrastination habits, we have to finish a lot of tasks within a short time. At that time, to overcome this stress we can take a piece of paper and write down all the things that we are thinking. Then prioritize your task depending on their importance and take a specific time limit to finish them.
- Maintain a daily diary: This diary will help you to recall your task to avoid procrastination.
- My strategy: Mostly you have a specific time limit to finish a task and also finish a task/assignment 24 hours before submission.
- Pomodoro Technique: It is one of the world's most acceptable learning techniques which was invented by Francesco. It's a time management technique that is about 30 minutes. it's 25 minutes of reading and then 5 minutes of rest.
Many foreign countries have shut up and written groups to use this technique effectively. There a group of people/students gather in a library or restaurant. Here they do their task, but an interesting fact is that there will be a moderator who ensures everyone is doing their task or not and also help them to maintain the Pomodoro cycle (25+5) again and again.
- Feynman theory: When you learn a topic, after that if you summarize it and help one of your friends to understand the topic. This technique will help you a lot to clearly understand the topic and easily memorize it.
